I founded The Spa in Me, L.L.C., at https://thespainme.com/, to help women find self-care rituals that best fit their lifestyles.

From Monday – Friday, The Spa in Me Newsletter issues a feature known as The Feel Goods, to share one to two moments of delight.  Topics include information about wellness destinations and tourism, such as spas, resorts, retreats, festivals, and more; self-care rituals that can easily be practiced at home; do it yourself skin care recipes; poetry; uplifting songs, and more. The Spa in Me newsletter is available at https://thespainme.substack.com/.

The Spa in Me, L.L.C., created The Spa in Me Self Love Book Club.  The purpose is to bring a community of women together to learn self-compassion strategies, improve self-worth, learn about food prepared by various cultures, and nurture their bodies with delicious food prepared in the comfort of their home.  When it’s safe to socialize again, they will prepare food in a group setting.  Through reading and cooking from carefully chosen books, the hope is that women will realize they are not alone in their situation, and that they are more alike than different.  Women can participate by joining at
https://www.meetup.com/The-Spa-in-Me-Self-Love-Book-Club/ and at

The Spa in Me, L.L.C. also created a reading group as The Cedar Park Chapter of The Silent Book Club at
https://www.meetup.com/The-Spa-in-Me-Silent-Book-Club/.

In this club, there are no assigned books. Women choose their own books to read.  At each of its Silent Book Club meetups, they socialize for the first thirty minutes, read silently for one hour, and then socialize for the last thirty minutes.  For now, both book clubs are meeting virtually in order to follow social distancing requirements.
